How we get cases to settle quickly

So when you come to us, what we do is we assess what options there are and leverage in your case. And one of the areas we find leverage is if you, there’s a contract and there’s an attorney fees provision contained within that contract. And it’s pretty obvious that our client did nothing wrong. And in fact, the other side did wrong.

We can use the, that attorney fees provision in any demand. settlement offer or mediation to try to get the case settled much more quickly because we can educate the other side on the fact that if we go all the way to the end, it’s obvious that we’ll be the prevailing party. It’s obvious that we will get our attorney fees and costs.

paid for based on the language in the contract. So it’s in everyone’s best interest to minimize the fees and costs incurred and settle the matter much more quickly. That’s always something we strive for here. We always are trying to find ways to resolve the matters as quickly as possible. For example, we have a case right now where we are filing, we filed a cross complaint and our damages are very significant compared to the other side.

And we’re hoping that we can get this case resolved fairly quickly. We hope it will be resolving within the next 60 days and really our client has not incurred a significant amount of attorney fees and costs, and I think that’s the best for all parties.
