Foreclosed? YOU STILL HAVE OPTIONS

If your house has already been foreclosed upon, it doesn’t mean that you have no options. For example, if the property reverted back to the beneficiary, which means that the bank that was foreclosing on the property is the one that received the property through the non judicial foreclosure, you have a better chance of being able to negotiate or even unwind the foreclosure in those situations.

If a third party buys a property, which is sometimes referred to as a bona fide purchaser or BFP, those are a little bit more challenging because they typically are third parties who are aggressive and hard money lenders. However, in those situations they will take an aggressive approach on trying to force you out of the property.

And even if we can’t unwind the foreclosure, we still might be able to negotiate a better resolution of when you’re leaving the property and also potentially what’s known as cash for keys. Every situation is different. But just because the property was foreclosed upon, doesn’t mean you have no options.

So keep in mind that if you’re facing a foreclosure, obviously reach out to us before it actually happens. We definitely have a better chance of stopping the foreclosure, but the foreclosure has already happened, but you’re still on the property. There might be options that are still available to you and your family.
