Estavillo Law Group Starts 2018 With Multiple Wins For Our Foreclosure Clients

February 13, 2018

The Estavillo Law Group started 2018 off with foreclosure law wins against U.S. Bank, Mr. Cooper, JP Morgan Chase, U.S. Bank & Wells Fargo.

Our victories include:

  • Prevailing against Bank of N.Y. Mellon and Ocwen in Santa Clara County Superior Court after they tried to have our client’s case thrown out.
  • Getting a Temporary Stay of a client’s Trustee’s Sale issued by the California Court of Appeals, First District, effectively stopping U.S. Bank and Mr. Cooper’s attempt to unlawfully foreclose on our client’s home in Contra Costa County.
  • Stopping JPMorgan Chase from proceeding with an unlawful detainer action in Santa Barbara County so that the merits of our client’s case can be determined, including a wrongful foreclosure claim for the illegal foreclosure of our client’s property.
  • Defeating a motion by U.S. Bank and Wells Fargo to have our client’s complaint for wrongful foreclosure thrown out. The case will now proceed to trial and the client remains in their home!

There is nothing we like more than keeping our clients in their homes and keeping the American dream of homeownership alive.
