Elizabeth L. Hurwitz brings over a decade of legal expertise to Estavillo Law Group, where she specializes in civil litigation, focusing on real estate disputes, foreclosure litigation, and commercial landlord-tenant matters. As a seasoned litigator, Elizabeth has successfully represented clients in complex cases across California, providing strategic counsel and trial representation.
Elizabethโs extensive litigation experience includes law and motion practice, trial preparation, mediation, arbitration, and appellate work. She has appeared before Superior Courts in multiple California counties, including San Francisco, Alameda, and Sonoma, handling various legal matters such as unlawful detainer actions, partition disputes, and breach of contract claims. Her clientele ranges from individuals and small businesses to larger corporations, and she is dedicated to delivering tailored legal solutions that meet each clientโs unique needs.
Before joining Estavillo Law Group, Elizabeth held senior roles at respected Bay Area firms, where she managed a diverse caseload and developed a strong track record of achieving favorable outcomes for her clients. Her background also includes serving as the sole legal representative for the San Francisco Housing Authority, overseeing legal matters for over 60 properties and the Section 8 voucher system.
Elizabeth is admitted to practice law in all California State Courts, as well as the United States District Court (Northern and Eastern Districts of California) and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco, School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
