Mr. Chaffin has fifteen years of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a vast number of real estate, general business, and other litigation matters. Mr. Chaffin has extensive experience in all aspects of the civil litigation process including law and motion, written discovery, depositions, mediation, settlement conferences, trial, and appeal. Mr. Chaffin has been successful in negotiating settlements in a large number of cases by maximizing his clients’ leverage in the litigation process and by using the relative positions of the parties in favor of his clients. Mr. Chaffin is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in California.
Mr. Chaffin earned a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA from University of California, Riverside. He graduated law school from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law. While in law school, he served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Mitchel R. Goldberg of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California.
